Discovery Kids Train Day

Children from Discovery Kids Pre-K arrived around 9:45 am and are treated to a tour of the
West Florida Rairoad Museum which take about 45 minutes. Immediately after the Museum tour,
the children ages 4 and 5, are brought to the Jordon Lot Railroad.

First order of business is a brief discussion about 'Proper Garden Train Etiquet',
and a couple of simple rules. Then on to the 'Ride On' train for laps in the gondola cars.

Finally, with eyes like silver dollars amid squeals of joy, the youngsters were released to
watch the trains run. 'Thomas the Tank Engine' was there, along with several other trains running
on different tracks. So many things to see and so much going on, it was like Christmas morning.

After an exciting morning, the children thanked everyone before reluctantly climbing back on the
bus to return to their school.
